Slime Day-The Ministry of Inspiration

The Ministry of Inspiration visited Brooklyn School and helped everyone make some slime.
We combined monomers; glue, borax and lotion to create a polymer; slime.


The recipe.
 
Pour the PVA up to the line on the container.
 
Add two squirts of lotion.
Mix the lotion and glue together. 






Add  drops of borax until the mixture starts to change and it is not sticky any more.


 Add in the clay. 

 We enjoyed playing with our slime and were very happy that we were able to take it home.

Symmetrical Butterflies

The Swam Plants  outside Room 4 were  lovingly transplanted into another garden following Cyclone Gita.
To save the eggs and caterpillars from the paper wasps Room Four decided to bring some inside and watch the life cycle of the monarch butterfly.
During our maths we created symmetrical butterflies
